Current TLC Celebration Gala Gold, Silver & Bronze Signature Package Sponsors are not eligible to submit award nominations to avoid any potential perceived conflict of interest.

Past winners may not nominate for the same project or initiative previously recognized; a new initiative or different category is encouraged.

Who can I nominate?

Any health and wellness provider in Durham Region & Ontario who has gone above and beyond the regular responsibilities of their profession. If their work has made a meaningful difference in the community, they deserve to be nominated.

Can I nominate myself?

Absolutely. If you've done something above and beyond your regular professional responsibilities that has made a meaningful difference in the community, please put your name forward. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.

How are winners selected?

All nominations are reviewed and scored by a panel of three judges - all healthcare and/or community providers using a structured rubric. Winners are selected based on demonstrated impact, consistency, and community reach.

Does the nominee need to attend the gala?

Yes , we would love to have you. The TLC awards are physical and will be revealed live at the Second Annual TLC Celebration Gala on October 2, 2026. The nominee or a designated representative must be present to receive the award.

Can current gala sponsors submit nominations?

No. Current TLC Celebration Gala sponsors are not eligible to submit award nominations to prevent any perceived conflict of interest.

Can past winners be nominated again?

Past winners are welcome to submit a new nomination . However, they cannot nominate for the same project or initiative they were previously recognized for. A new initiative or a different award category is encouraged.
