Join The TLC Community at Feed the Need Durham to sort donations for families across our region, then stay for an optional supper together.

Check in at Feed the Need Durham, grab your name tag, and meet the TLC crew you'll be working alongside.
1:00 PM · Sort
Roll up your sleeves and sort donations side by side with other members of Durham's health and wellness community. Every box you sort helps get food to families across the region.
3:45 PM · Wrap Up
A quick group photo and a look at what we accomplished together.
4:30–6:30 PM · Supper at Baxter's Landing
Keep the conversation going over a meal together.
We celebrated together. Now let's serve together.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can come?
Everyone is welcome: health and wellness providers, TLC community members, and anyone who wants to give back. Volunteers must be over the age of 18.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
What does the registration fee include?
The $10 covers event coordination. Supper guests order and pay for their own meal at Baxter's Landing.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. The Feed the Need team will show us exactly what to do when we arrive. Please keep in mind that this position involves standing and light lifting.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, please do. Each person must register separately so we have an accurate headcount.
Can I bring a food donation too?
Absolutely. Bring non-perishable items with you, and they'll go straight to families across Durham Region.
What if I'm running late?
Come anyway. Check in when you arrive and we'll get you started.
When is the last day to register?
Registration closes on November 30, 2026.
What's the refund policy?
Registration is non-refundable, but you can transfer your spot to someone else. Just email us their name.
